Mullahs Disagreeing

The internal debate about Iran’s future.

Amir Taheri, writing in the National Review Online, describes the two factions, the accommodationists and the confrontationists. The latter he says want to set "fires" in Israel and Iraq until the US and Israel leave. They feel the accommodationists would lead to the end of the Islamic Revolution. The US realizes that in order to win the peace for Iraq and for Israel, they must end the support Iran and Syria give to terrorism
