Palestinian Killed, Israeli Soldiers Wounded in West Bank Raid
Israeli troops killed an elderly shepherd near a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip and two other Palestinians in West Bank clashes on Tuesday after Washington voiced concern over Palestinian civilian casualties. (8) The Bush administration on Tuesday urged Israel to protect the lives and welfare of innocent Palestinians as the government cracks down on militants.
