HEZBOLLAH KILLERS JUST LIE IN WAIT

Mr. Bush: either you are against terrorism or you are not. What of this?

November 24, 2002 -- WASHINGTON - With the Bush administration focused on al Qaeda and Iraq, the deadly terrorists of Hezbollah are getting a free pass.
That's the scary conclusion of a number of terrorism experts and politicians who monitor the Lebanon-based group that has killed hundreds of Americans.

The renewed fears stem from several recent revelations about the terror outfit, which is funded by Syria and Iran.

* The FBI says a "substantial" population of Hezbollah members and supporters are inside the United States.

* Intelligence shows that top Hezbollah and al Qaeda leaders periodically meet, possibly to coordinate operations.

* Hezbollah has acquired thousands of rockets able to strike northern Israel.

"They are the most dangerous state-sponsored terrorist organization in the world right now," says terrorism expert Warren Bass of the Council on Foreign Relations. "They have killed more Americans than any terrorist organization other than al Qaeda."
