Arab MK Smuggles Cell Phones To Imprisoned Terrorists

As the Labor party commissars are demanding that Effi Eitam be arrested for "incitement" for his pro-Israel viewpoints, Arab list MK's continue to actively and openly support terrorism.
(Ha'aretz) Four cellular telephones were discovered this week in the Katziot prison, concealed in parcels sent to security detaines by a group of visitors led by MK Abdulmalik Dehamshe.

The Israel Defense Forces reported the attempted smuggling to the Defense Minister's office. Dehamshe, who is chairman of the United Arab List, said that he didn't know what was in the packages.

Dehamshe, the political leader of the Islamic Movement (southern division), visited Katziut last Thursday accompanied by representatives of a charity associated with the movement. After meeting with a group of Palestinian detainees, the visitors gave packages to the prison authorities for the detainees. On Sunday, when the packages were checked before being given to the detainees, soldiers found mobile phones that the army does not allow in prison. One of the phones was found in the sole of a shoe, and two others were concealed within a chopping board.

An army spokesman refused to comment on the details of the visit, but said that it is "completely forbidden for detainees to use mobile phones, in order to prevent them from guiding hostile activities from within the prison, attempts to escape, revolts, etc."
