NO WAR

I've been trying to think of an appropriate comment for this for a couple of hours now, ever since I saw the picture. Ultimately, though, there really is nothing to say. The sheer self-contradictory nature of these girls' behavior and beliefs is so apparent that any additional comment would probably only serve to diminish the absurdity.

Nevertheless. This is pure unaldulterated anti-Semitism, so extreme that no apologist could possibly explain it away. I mean, to hold a sign denouncing war while dressing up as a suicide bomber?! What rational system of political belief could possibly explain the compatibility of the two?

Just as every Palestinian who does not denounce suicide bombing is himself assumed to be a supporter of such behavior due to the pervasiveness of such sentiment in Palestinian society, so now is every Westerner associated with the Left suspect of condoning mass murder of Israeli civilians, unless they specifically and categorically denounce such behavior, due to the increasing pervalence of sympathy towards suicide bombers among the further Left.

Unfortunately, the combination of pacifism and support for suicide bombing is so irrational, that the rebirth of the malignant European anti-Semitism is the only possible explanation for their co-existence.
